Project Beam-On & Silent Auction Item
My friend Rose Weinberg is the Founder of Project Beam-On. The charity provides Reiki-infused blankets to cancer patients. My colourful friends & I will be attending her fundraising Gala on Feb. 25th, 2016 at The Hazelton Manor. We have donated a prize for the Silent Auction which includes a set of 11 finger puppets, a book & a $50.00 gift certificate for a JK/SK Workshop. We’re looking forward to the BIG event. If you’re available that evening please consider joining us. For more details visit: http://projectbeamon.org/gala-2016/ Hope to see you there.
Do you know what animal I’m making?
Today I have been busy creating one of the characters from my book in paper mache. Here are the materials that I am recycling. Gorilla Glue, Irish Spring boxes, a bottle of EXTRA laundry detergent, an egg carton, a Scotties tissue box and an empty President’s Choice Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie box (btw, those cookies were delictios!)
Introducing Ruby
Ruby is a six foot red flamingo based on a character in my book titled, “We Are Colourful Friends”. Ruby accompanies me when I deliver workshops to JK/SK students in the GTA.
